Studio services

Six ways we keep a studio day running smoothly

scoopiro supports broadcasters, event producers and live entertainment teams from the first equipment list to the final cue. Each service can be booked on its own or combined, depending on whether you need a specialist for one day or a crew around a whole production.

Six ways we keep a studio day running smoothly
  • Studio Equipment Planning

We specify, schedule and check cameras, monitors, vision mixers and cabling so your studio is ready before the first rehearsal.

  • Camera Movement Direction

Practical coaching and shot planning for tracking, jib and handheld camera work in news and live entertainment formats.

  • Lighting Design

Lighting plots for news desks, talk sets and concert stages that look good on camera and are simple to operate.

  • Sound Management

Microphone placement, mixing desk setup and monitoring for speech-led and music-led productions.

  • Newsroom Coordination

Running orders, story tracking and handover routines that keep reporters, producers and gallery teams aligned.

  • Live Event Studio Support

On-site crew coordination for concerts, festivals and televised parties, from stage cameras to talkback.

Tell us the format, the venue and the number of cameras or presenters, and we will advise which services fit. Scope is agreed in writing before any work starts.

In detail

Studio Equipment Planning

  1. Specification and kit lists

We review the format, the size of the floor and the crew, then write a kit list covering cameras, monitors, vision mixers and cabling, with sensible spares noted for anything that cannot fail on air.

  2. Scheduling and delivery

Equipment arrives in an order that matches the rig. We agree delivery windows with your venue, plan access for heavy cases and set out who is on site to receive each item.

  3. Cabling and signal checks

Every run of cable is labelled and tested before rehearsal. We check vision, talkback and monitoring paths end to end, so faults are found on a quiet morning and not during a live cue.

  4. Handover documentation

You receive a plain record of what was installed, where each signal goes and how to reset the room. It lets your own operators run the studio confidently when we are not there.

How we work

From first conversation to the final cue

Every engagement follows the same sequence, whether it is a single lighting plot or a week of live event support. The steps keep decisions in writing and give your team a clear point of contact throughout.

  1. Enquiry and first call

You contact us through the form with the format, venue and dates. We call back to ask about the crew, the equipment already in place and what has gone wrong on previous productions, so we understand the real constraints.

What you leave withA shared summary of your production and the services that apply

  2. Site review

Where the studio or venue can be visited, we walk the floor, look at power, rigging points and sightlines, and speak with the people who run it day to day. Otherwise we work from plans and photographs.

What you leave withNotes on the space with risks and open questions listed

  3. Written quotation

We set out what is included, what we need from you and which changes would alter the price. Nothing begins until you have confirmed the quotation in writing and any questions are settled.

What you leave withA written quotation and a confirmation once you accept it

  4. Preparation and rehearsal

Plots, running orders, kit lists and crew calls are drawn up and shared. We attend rehearsal to adjust lighting, sound and camera positions while there is still time to change them calmly.

What you leave withAgreed plots, running order and crew schedule

  5. Live day and handover

We support the crew on the day, then leave you with notes on what was set up and what we would change next time. Invoicing follows the written quotation, paid by bank transfer.

What you leave withA handover note and an invoice matching the quotation
