Accessibility Statement
Accessibility of this website: the measures taken, known gaps and how to contact us.
We want scoopiro.info to work for every visitor, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or a magnifier. This statement explains what scoopiro has done, which gaps remain and how to report a barrier.
Our approach
Accessibility is treated as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate project. Whenever a page is added or the design is changed, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, operated with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under scoopiro.info.
Information in another form
If a page on scoopiro.info does not work for you, the same information is available without the website. Reach us by telephone on 01273 480126, by email at hello@scoopiro.info or by post at 42 Kensington Gardens Lane, Brighton BN1 4AL, and on request we will send the content of a page in another form.
Known limitations
Some pictures are general illustrations with a short alternative text rather than a full description.
Feedback
Please report any accessibility problem you encounter by email to hello@scoopiro.info or by telephone on 01273 480126. A short description of the page, of the difficulty and of the device or assistive technology involved allows us to reproduce the fault. We normally answer within five working days and explain what we intend to do about it.
What we do
The site is built from semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, one main heading per page and descriptive link texts. The main content and the navigation are marked as separate regions, and every page declares its language for screen readers. Informative images have text alternatives, decorative ones are marked as such.
Colours are selected so that body text, links and buttons maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Font sizes are expressed in relative units, so that text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off. Links, menus and form fields can be operated using the keyboard alone.
Standards
Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We describe the site as partially conformant, because a few elements still fall short of individual criteria; pages are reviewed regularly and problems are fixed as they are found.
Preparation and review
The present statement is dated 26 October 2026 and rests on a self-assessment carried out by scoopiro, not on an external audit. We examined the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves, using a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader. We review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
